A highway invasion by an Arabian Gazelle sent shockwaves on the internet as the antelope was seen running between lanes alongside running vehicles.
Nicole Atalla, a resident based in the UAE captured the shocking moment when the Arabian Gazelle hasten from the dunes into a highway, evoking reactions of shock and surprise by Nicole as she honked behind the animal.
In a surprising move, the Arabian Gazelle skipped to the middle lanes of the highway, surrounded by vehicles from a distance.
Little is known about the Arabian Gazelle’s whereabouts. However, news outlet Lovin’ Dubai reports the antelope made a return to its desert.
Animals taking over the roads is an uncommon thing in the UAE, particularly main roads and highways. However, there are instances of camels roaming around single-lane roads closer to deserts every now and then. Not to mention mountain goats in wadis and mountains, motorists are advised to drive cautiously on those terrains.
