A small earthquake of 3.4magnitude was recorded struck Fujairah’s coast on early Friday morning, with minimal impact on people and on the emirate.

UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology (NCMS) reports the earthquake, with a depth of just 10 kilometres, was “slightly felt by residents without any effect” yesterday morning at 5 am with a magnitude of 3.4 on the Richter scale.
Imran Lateef, a Fujairah resident says he woke up to the tremor after his building “shook slightly,” believing it was a structural issue. A few residents said they “felt it” with some confessing it “felt scary.”
