In time for schools reopening and to make streets safer for children, Dubai Police is encouraging motorists to be cautious on the roads this Sunday, 30th August with the ‘Day Without Accidents’ initiative.
‘Day Without Accidents’ initiative by Dubai Police
Every year, Dubai Police rolls out the ‘Day Without Accidents’ campaign on the first day of school inviting motorists to take the pledge and drive safely, making it easy for school-going children to cross streets and multi-lane roads. This year’s edition will take place on Sunday, 30th August.
Here’s how you can take the pledge
Motorists can help the city achieve an accident-free day by taking simple steps, such as giving way to emergency vehicles, giving way to pedestrians, leaving a safe distance from the vehicle in front, buckling up the seat belt, keeping away from using your phone while driving and respecting the speed limit.
