Following a fiery warehouse fire that claimed one life, Sheikh Hamdan personally made a visit to meet injured firefighters and praise their efforts to contain the blaze.
Huge fires broke out at Dubai Investment Park after warehouse collapse
Last Tuesday afternoon saw the wall of a two-storey warehouse collapse and erupt in fire, to which Dubai Civil Defence deployed teams of firefighters who contained the blaze within two hours,
However, the fires killed an Emirati firefighter, Adel Nasser Saleh, and a few sustained injuries in their attempt to contain the fumes. Dubai’s Crown Prince, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum visited the ‘heroes’ yesterday, thanking them for their determination and sacrifice, and offered his best wishes for them to recover soon.
