Dubai Civil Defence deployed three teams from Al Rashidiya, Al Qusais and Nad Al Sheba to bring fires that erupted from a wood factory in Umm Ramool under control.
Fire breaks out from wood factory in Umm Ramool
Large fires and plumes of thick black smoke filled the sky yesterday from a timber factory in Umm Ramool, around 2:32 pm. Teams of firefighters from the Nad Al Sheba, Al Rashidiya and Al Qusais stations arrived onto the scene within just three minutes and contained the fires within 50 minutes, according to news outlet Khaleej Times.
The authority also claims the flames were “moderate.”
No deaths or casualties have been reported.
