It appears Dubai Police has arrested an international drug lord, Nordin EH in the emirate, as per reports by Dutch news outlets and by the Belgian city of Antwerp’s police force.
Wanted drug lord
Nordin EH was a central suspect part of an international cocaine trafficking ring as well as reportedly the brains behind a series of grenade attacks in 2017 in Antwerp, the second biggest city in Belgium after Brussels. EH was traced through a dock worker who misplaced a drug shipment, and hence targeted by a series of attacks involving the use of grenades and AK-47’s, by the orders of the notorious drug mafia.

Nordin EH reportedly arrested in Dubai
Even though there’s no statement issued by Dubai Police, Antwerp’s police force confirmed his imprisonment followed by a line-up of reports by European press.
Nordin’s arrest follows with a series of notorious European criminals and mafias arrested in the UAE recently. December 2019 saw Dubai Police catching drug trafficker Ridouan Taghi after entering the emirate through a fake passport. The 41-year-old was touted as The Netherlands’ “most dangerous man,” ordering killings like “cups of coffees.”

Earlier this month, Danish gangster Amir Faten Mekky was arrested by Dubai Police in a sting operation at his residence. He was involved in gang-related crimes including killings and explosions s in Sweden and Spain, and y “had has eluded security forces across Europe for years.”
