Hatta Police Rescue 20 Passengers From Bus Totalled In Flash Floods

A flash flood sent waters gushing into the valleys of Hatta sinking a bus including 20 passengers, until Hatta Police arrived at the scene and rescued them.

Severe weather and heavy rains swept through the mountainous region of Hatta in the aftermath of unexpected weather forecasts. A bus carrying 20 passengers were stranded in the valley after water broke into the vehicle, leaving the group with no alternative than exiting and searching for the nearest land. Hatta Police were tipped about it around 7:30 pm and immediately deployed a team to the location.

Given the terrain and lack of lighting, a Hatta Police policeman rode an ATV to arrive onto the scene. He helped one injured passenger get back to the rescue teams’ location while the rest of the passengers accompanied by rescue officials followed the vehicle.
