Footage shows 34 cars impounded by Ajman Police for drifting
Just like a scene straight out of a ‘Hajwala’ movie, a piece of footage released by Ajman Police showed high-octane SUV’s drifting, performing burnouts and revving loud engines on empty roads of the northern Emirate, with some vehicles not even holding a number plate.
Lieutenant Colonel Abdulla Al Falasi, Director of the Department at Ajman Police say 17 cars were caught drifting and reckless driving, while the second half were violating traffic laws. The vehicles will remain under impoundment for six months.
“The patrols were able to seize the vehicles after monitoring them based on forwarded information, and these vehicles will be impounded for 6 months according to the penalties for the violations committed.”
