Volunteers distribute 500,000 free meals in Dubai
Thousands of people are staying indoors in Deira’s high-density areas in the wake of strict quarantine measures enforced by the authorities, and one of the biggest growing concerns has been putting food on the table. Thanks to Dubai’s Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, a staggering 500,000 meals were distributed in the busy districts to support the people.
That’s even enough meals to feed the entire population of countries like Iceland, Barbados, Malta and Seychelles!
