A light artist is projecting a series of world flags on the Swiss Alps’ Matterhorn mountain including India, as a sign of solidarity amid the novel Coronavirus outbreak.

Stunning visuals from light artist Gerry Hofstetter show India’s flag illuminating the famed 14,692 foot tall Matterhorn mountain to spread hope and show support for everyone fighting the pandemic, claiming 160,00+ deaths and a whopping total of 2.3 million cases. The light show came with a heartwarming message by Hoffsetter to which Prime Minister Narendra Modi says “Humanity will surely overcome this pandemic.” Check it out:
15,722 Coronavirus cases in India
Data from India’s Ministry of Health show 14,378 Coronavirus cases in the country, out of which 1,992 patients have cured from the outbreak. Whereas, statistics from http://www.worldometers.info show 521 COVID-19-linked deaths in the country. A few towns in India remain with zero cases reported for two weeks, including Vishakapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, Lohit in Arunachal Pradesh, Hoshiarpur in Punjab and Thoubal in Manipur.
