Passengers travelling through the Dubai International Airport (DXB) can avail a special travel stamp on their passport with a heartwarming message in the midst of these challenging times.
Special travel passport stamps for passengers leaving Dubai
Passports stamps are very much a big part of travel, undeniably, symbolizing the start and end of a journey lasting a lifetime of memories. There are a lot of ooh’s and aah’s passengers departing from Dubai Airports can boast of, getting a rare exit stamp by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA), featuring a heartening message that reads, “Have a Safe Flight, We’ll Meet Soon.” Check it out:
It’s one of the very few moments the GDRFA is offering unique travelling stamps. The last time immigration offered one of those was for Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, making a visit to Dubai to meet Dubai’s Deputy Ruler, His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed Al Maktoum.
“The sticker will be the last thing they see when they leave the country. They will always be more than welcome in the UAE. The orders issued by the UAE Cabinet in waiving their fines in these exceptional times is part of the UAE humanitarian policy and supporting people across the work in difficult times.”

Residents “will always be supported”
What’s more, Major General Al Marri reaffirms the UAE’s support for resident saying they “will always be supported” by the nation in the wake of challenging times the world faces during Coronavirus. Expatriates will also be “exempted from fines as per directives from the Cabinet.”
3,736 Coronavirus cases in the UAE
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) announced 376 new cases and four deaths due to the novel Coronavirus, taking the total tally to 3,736. On the brighter side, 170 patients are recovering from the pandemic.
