Feeling sick? A virtual doctor in the UAE can help detect Coronavirus symptoms and evaluate your chances of catching the pandemic within a couple of minutes.
The UAE’s first virtual doctor
Let’s be realistic here, the idea of a virtual doctor sounds rather futuristic, but the UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) rolled out an online consultation to replace expensive visits to a hospital. All you have to is head to their website and answer a line-up of questions about your health and travel history, followed by the final evaluation.

However, the virtual doctor warns it is “ not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.”
It begins with selecting the emirate you’re based in, your travel history within the last two weeks, whether you’ve been in contact with a sick person or a Coronavirus patient and whether you’re showing symptoms such as fever, cough, runny nose or a sore throat. Those who show none or few signs will recieve their evaluation as ‘low risk,” while patients who show more symptoms are requested to send their phone number.
Healthcare centres open 24/7 to cure Coronavirus across northern emirates
With more than 100 confirmed Coronavirus cases in the UAE, the MOHAP launched a string of healthcare centres situated across the northern emirates and are open around the clock. Here are the locations:
